Centrix Bank GOAL:
To brand Centrix Bank as the premiere commercial bank in New Hampshire. 
BACKGROUND
Centrix Bank was established in 1998 to provide commercial banking services to small to medium-sized businesses and professionals, and has grown to include not-for-profits and municipalities in New Hampshire. Unique in its goal, and successful in the execution of its business model, Centrix continues to be the fastest growing bank in the Granite State with full-service offices in Bedford, Manchester, Portsmouth, Milford, Concord and a loan production office in Dover.
THE CHALLENGE
As a start-up bank, Centrix was in serious need of branding, marketing and public relations to reach their target audience and distinguish them from others in the market. The Bank is unique in its approach, and in this regard requires clear messaging to drive home three key points: local ownership and operation, a commercial focus and a customizable approach.
THE SOLUTION
Through a mix of marketing methods including radio and television broadcast, print, interactive services, and exterior advertising—as well as a comprehensive approach to public relations—Centrix would be branded by illustrating their expertise in niche banking, the Bank’s offering of unique line of products and services, as well as Centrix’s commitment to localized economic development and public service.
THE RESULTS
Today, Centrix is a $425 million bank, has its common stock shares quoted on the Over the Counter Stock Bulletin Board (OTCBB: CXBT), has received the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics and was awarded the 2006 NH Business of the Year Award by Business New Hampshire Magazine.

Through consistent messaging and an astute awareness of buzz marketing opportunities, Centrix—and the directors and officers involved—quickly became a household name throughout the communities the Bank serves.
